And yes, this codes does contain some errors but the overall algorithm is there...
And so... dun rely too much on the codes, just try to understand what the overall algorithm is doing

Note: pls acknowledge this as reference... else would get everyone into trouble...

NRIC validation checking...
S0000000J=true
S1000000I=true
S0100000D=true
S1111111D=true
S(7 random numbers + 1 random alpha)=false(unless you are lucky you change 1 digit)
with these 5 + own nric... if your validation works like this you should be correct...
